Senior Frontend Developer
POSITION OVERVIEW
YOUR MISSION
- Frontend Leadership: Lead frontend development efforts across multiple teams and value streams, ensuring alignment with overall product and design strategies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to frontend developers within the organization.
- Architecture & Design: Define and implement frontend architecture that leverages web components, design systems, and micro frontends to ensure modularity, scalability, and consistency across our products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate design concepts into functional, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Design Systems: Drive the development and adoption of a unified design system, ensuring consistent and efficient frontend development across the company.
- Web Components & Micro Frontends: Utilize your expertise in web components and micro frontends to build reusable, modular UI components that can be leveraged across multiple products and teams.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Champion code quality, maintainability, and performance across all frontend initiatives. Establish and enforce best practices for frontend development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in frontend development. Advocate for and implement innovative solutions that enhance the development process and product quality.
- Problem Solving: Act as a key problem-solver for complex frontend challenges, providing solutions that balance user experience, technical feasibility, and business needs.
MUST HAVE
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React) and a deep understanding of web standards and best practices.
- Web Components & Micro Frontends: Proven experience in developing with web components and implementing micro frontend architectures in enterprise-grade applications.
- Design Systems: Extensive experience in building and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency and reusability across multiple projects.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading frontend development efforts, mentoring developers, and driving large-scale frontend projects to successful completion.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Azure & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and experience with DevOps practices as they relate to frontend development.
- Agile Methodology: Extensive experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- UI/UX Sensibility: A keen eye for design and user experience, with the ability to collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and highly usable interfaces.
